FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything drivers usually want to know before calling a mobile mechanic. If your question isn't here, call us — we'll give you a straight answer.
Do you come to my location?
Yes — that is the whole service. We bring a fully equipped mobile workshop to your home, your workplace or wherever your vehicle is stranded, so there is no need to arrange a tow or sit in a waiting room.
What areas do you service?
We cover all of Jacksonville and the surrounding areas, including Orange Park, Riverside, Arlington, Jacksonville Beach. If you are in or around Jacksonville, call us and we will confirm we can reach you.
Are you available 24/7?
Yes. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency roadside repairs and diagnostics. Call and we will dispatch a mechanic as quickly as we can.
Can you diagnose a car that won't start?
In most cases, yes. A no-start is one of the most common calls we take. We test the battery, starter, alternator and ignition circuit on site to work out why the vehicle isn't cranking or firing — often before a tow would even have arrived.
Can the repair be completed on site?
Usually. Our service vehicles carry the tools and equipment for common repairs, diagnostics and maintenance at your location. If a job genuinely needs workshop facilities, we will tell you that upfront rather than start something we can't finish.
Do I need to supply tools or parts?
No. We bring everything needed to complete the work. If a part needs replacing, we source a quality replacement and fit it for you.
How do quotes work?
Tell us the vehicle and the symptoms by phone or through the quote form and we will give you an upfront price before any work begins. Cost depends on the service, the vehicle and the parts required, so the more you can tell us about the problem, the more accurate the estimate.
What types of vehicles do you work on?
Cars, trucks and SUVs across domestic and foreign makes and models, plus RVs, diesel vehicles and on-site truck and trailer work.
What services do you offer in Jacksonville?
On-site repair and maintenance across a wide range: brakes, oil changes, engine tune-ups, radiator and cooling work, alternator and starter replacement, fuel pump repair, timing and drive belts, AC repair and recharge, computer diagnostics, pre-purchase inspections, ignition switch and lock repairs, plus mobile diesel and RV work. We bring a fully equipped mobile workshop to your home, office or roadside location.
Why choose a mobile mechanic over a traditional repair shop?
Convenience is the obvious one — no tow, no drop-off, no waiting room, no rearranging your day. The less obvious one is that you're present while the work happens, so you can see what we found and ask questions rather than getting a phone call about parts you can't inspect.
How much does mobile auto repair cost?
It depends on the service, the vehicle and the parts required. We give you an upfront price before any work begins, so there's no surprise at the end. For an accurate figure, call us or send the quote form with the year, make, model and symptoms.
What happens if the repair can't be done on site?
We tell you before starting. Most common repairs are completed at your location, but some major work genuinely needs workshop facilities — and we'd rather be straight with you about that than begin a job we can't finish in your driveway.
